I've done some internet searches but found nothing similar to my situation.
18 years ago, the first thing I did on my six speed 2002 Coupe was install the skip shift bypass. Worked perfect until just now. Well, it actually IS still functioning but my "1 to 4" dash light is on and the "check engine" light is on. I've reset it a couple times and it comes back, along with code P0804 as history and current.
Crawled under the car yesterday and the wiring harness looks good.....clean, and zip tied up nicely. Wiggled it around just in case but no fix.
Anyone else have this issue and what was the remedy?
So....reviving this as I replaced the part that plugs directly into the transmission, but what I ordered didn't come with the other harness. So, if a resistor, is it in the plug into the tranny or at the end of the harness part? I reset the DIC code but it eventually came back on again. Not sure how I only ordered the one part.....weird.....time to look at my order....Corvette Central I think....
Yep....looked at the invoice inside the package and it was Corvette Central for only the plug and another useless part I didn't need....all for a grand total of $42.73 with shipping. What a f***ing RIPOFF!!!! That's what I get for trusting they would send what I needed etc......ordered the whole gig on Amazon for $18.00 that includes the harness. Plus, even after I typed in the date and order number, there website showed nothing!! Like I never ordered it. .....Last time for me with CC.
