Default Zo6 no start.

Had the car trickle charging and drive about every couple weeks for the past 3 months.
Just took it out for a drive, parked for an hour and it Cranked weakly, then didn’t crank at all after a couple attempts. Usually starts no problem.
Noticed interior lights sometimes stay on when car is locked, and 12v port is always getting power.
Not sure if i need a battery, or starter. car bump starts fine and shows “service Traction control system and shows ABS light, runs and drives fine
I assume i’m getting some sort of parasitic power loss, but Over just being parked for an hour is way out of the ordinary
Some lights stay, including footwell and trunk light.

any input would be helpful..
i don’t think alternator is a problem, drives fine and has normal voltage when running

What in all that is holy is that noise? Has that always been there?

The lights staying on could kill a battery in an hour, especially if the battery is on the weaker side. Are they the stock incandescents or LEDs?

The cigarette lighter/power socket being always hot isn't an issue unless you keep something plugged into it that will use power.

I would investigate that buzzing noise, that sounds like something stuck on that could be the true culprit to the batt dying. After that, I'd start investigating door latches to see if there's one that's making the BCM think a door is open.

This was the first time i noticed the sound. the car seems to make weird noises as if electrical components are turning off and on randomly(might be due to it being connected to trickle charger?) I’m probably going to use a multimeter to check the fuse box for Draws tomorrow

Very first thing is to have the battery load tested, and eliminate it as a cause of your problems. Bussing noise is usually relays which is caused by a low voltage condition, and things staying on is usually caused by the BCM which controls the lights, and turns things off after a predetermined amount of time.
