Popup headlight haywiring
As the title suggests, my pop-up headlights started going crazy yesterday afternoon. When I turn on the foglight, both headlights popped up (which is not supposed to happen), and when I turn all lights off the headlights went down normally for a second. The driver side headlight popped back up and down four times in a row before it popped down one last time. Everything returns to how it should be

Going through a few threads it seems like a brass gear issue but I just want to double check if there is a sensor somewhere I should touch before taking apart the headlight motor. I've already turned Twilight Sentinel mode a long time ago and just replaced the rubber bump inside the headlight about a month ago, no creaking sound, also apart from how haunted the headlights are now.

Gears and bump-stops (there's three or four per light) would be my first step, that resolves these issues most of the time.
