I was chasing down what i beleive to be a bad yaw sensor ( code 1282). When putting the consol back together i bumped the wiper switch and now they wont turn off unless the car is off. They will go to high and back to low, intermittent doesnt seem to change. Is there a relay somehwere? I found a fuse location in the passenger footwell, but i dont see a relay. Anything else i can check?
According to that chart, the switch is bad... or is grounding out somewhere. I managed to get the switch out... was not prepared for an E torx! Fortunately I had them, just want expecting to find one. Anyway, I'll replace the switch first, failing that I'll get back to chasing wiring.
Has your car been recently washed/ got wet? I had this same thing happen to me. I had the interior apart, put it back together, washed the car, and went inside for the night. The next morning as I was driving the wipers randomly came on and wouldn't turn off. I pulled over, pulled the fuse, and investigated when I got home. Wound up being my wiper motor was submerged in water. I cleaned the gutters out, drained and cleaned the area where the motor sits, took apart, and dried the motor electronics and all worked right.
