Thanks, I was thinking that a stuck half open or half closed check valve was causing my fuel pump to whine after long drives (It's pretty loud) but I'm not willing to drop the tanks just to replace the check valve on a whim that it might cure the noise. I guess I'll just have to live with the noise and turn up the radio.
So if the check valves are in the fuel lines, where are they?
I dont believe they are. The check valves should be integrated in the fuel pump assemblies. To prevent tank equalization / easier & faster engine starting

Sometimes what we believe is not always true, or applicable to all years.

Like this example before FFS....
i too ran into that jpeg online. When i glanced at it i remember thinking it was not oem. I have done several sensor swaps on my 50th anniversary z06 and a few on my zr1. My life got way easier never going below 1\8th tank if i could help it and also staying away from the fuel company that uses much techroline..... shell and petro canada have been no problem. Knock on wood lol. Dont want to jinx it
