Default Transmission issues

I have a 99 corvette, I have a tick clutch master cylinder and a mclead clutch. I have flushed the system many times, there are black small particles in the fluid. Additionally, when I am at a stand still and try to shift into first the car starts moving slightly, like the clutch is grabbing, it’s also difficult to shift through gears it gets stuck, and it’s difficult to go into reverse when the car is on. Please advice.

You say flushed, was that through a remote bleeder — i.e. have you bled the system as well? Do you have any fluid loss? It definitely reads as though you are not getting complete release — this is a new problem, yes? It was working before? On my ‘99 I had complete fluid loss, and it was the slave cylinder. Others have had the master develop a leak, sometimes without an external leak. We’ll hope for it to be the master.

hi, thanks for the help. Yes from the reservoir to the remote bleeder, I have done pressure bleed, traditional bleeding (two people job).

what do you mean the whole system? Bleeding is the whole system, unless I am missing something.

yes not comple release, there are also small black specks every time I flush.

I don’t know if it’s the slave but I’m really hoping it isn’t.

Very good information. Are you losing fluid, or is the level constant?
Is there any stain on the pavement where you usually park? Fluid loss from the master would probably show up inside the car, and loss from the slave drips out of bell housing — i.e. stain on the ground.
No fluid loss or stain? Then try a new master cylinder. A genuine GM Z06, 12564455 would be my choice.

hi thanks for the reply, honestly I have thought of that. The tick master is just not cutting it for me. However there is no fluid loss, whatsoever.
