After making mods such as better intake, exhaust, etc. does the computer need to be reprogrammed in any way? Wouldn't the computer compensate for the changes and bring the car back to original settings? Is there any way to "reset" the computer? Not like the good ole days when you could instantly see the results it seems. Thanks for the input!!!!! :flag

PS...where can I get mine tuned? I live in Columbia SC. WHo is the best for the $$$?

The computer relearned itself after all of my mods. I did put on a MAF translator but it only gave me a couple of horses because the dyno guy said that the computer had already relearned itself and there wasn't much left to be gained.

I could feel a good difference with the intake items, especially the Blackwing. But on a lot of these items, if you listen to the marketing you would have huge gains, but in reality there aren't any. And even when there are gains, a lot of time they are just at the very high rpm range, which you don't spend a lot of time in, so it's not too useful.

If you read a lot on this Forum, you'll get a ton of great information from those guys who really know what is going on. To me, the Blackwing and gears are the items that really gave me the increased sense of power.

For an LS6 intake and headers the computer will relearn on its own like FunDriver says. You can see instant results with an Ease software scan program hooked up to your car. :)
