I just want to thank speed demon for everything they have done...They really helped me alot...I don't mind the 2 hour drive at all they are worth it....i will try to do a dyno run hopefully today or on monday..i will let you guys know what kinda numbers i got ....Thanx again speed demon :chevy
2 hours??? Are you really in Beaumont? That should only take you 1.5 hours tops.......if you go down Hwy 90 to Dayton, then jump over to 1960, come on into Humble and then get on Beltway 8 to Hwy 249 and he's righ there.....
just a quicker route in case you need to do it again
oh, and congrats on your FLP install, mine should be in next week and I'll be installing them myself next weekend I hope...... :D
Thanx guys....well i did consider tuning but i did not have enough money for it ...i well get it hopefully next week....and about the labor, i am not sure i can say the price on the net, but i well tell you this much they were alot cheaper than everyone else....i asked around for labor price and speed demon had everyone else beat by a mile....i hope that helped
I dont get it!.... seems FLP's are all the wave right now. Just a few months back TPIS was in. I purchased TPIS based on recomendations from the Forum. Now, seems everyone is on the FLP bandwagon. Did I make a mistake?
TPIS are good headers and many here have them, but FLP's have a lot more to them, they come with high flow cats, x-pipe, plus the ease of the installation since they are truely a 100% bolt on installation.
The FLP's are $1,599 list (you might get them 1 or 2 hundred dollars cheaper) and the TPIS can be had fro around $850-$900. That is a big difference. For the money TPIS are great (install is a bit tougher of course since you have to wled), but if $$ was no object, FLP's all the way!
But your TPIS will be just fine and provide similar gains.

Alot of people like this because of the simplicity of the installation. No welding or cutting of the orginal is require. Simply drop off the original and install FLP's kit. Simple enough. I love mine.
