HVAC Displayed Faded Again
Well, I pulled the display on my C5 a few years back to resolder the surface mounted resistors on the board, worked great to restore the brightness of the display so it could be read in daylight lighting. But, lately it has begun to go again, only able to see the settings when it's in the dark at night. Guess I'll have to repeat the same corrective measures again, anybody else had a similar problem?

One last thing . . . . when you guys resoldered yours did you just reflow the existing solder under the chips, or did you try and add solder to the existing connection? I think I tried both ways when I initially repaired mine, but didn't seem to be too successful adding solder to the existing resistors.
