Default C7 seat install help needed!

Got my driver side seat installed and am having an issue with fitment.
The seatback tilt lever is seriously hitting the outer side panel.
I don't recall any seat install I've seen where this was mentioned, can anyone who has dealt with this shed some light on a solution?
Is cutting the **** down to a minimum the way to go?

Well, I couldn't stand to wait for someone to offer a solution, so I went out and cut the ****.
I ended up cutting too much off, will cut less on the passenger side, and do it before I install it!

If anyone has a better solution, please go ahead and chime in, be interested to know what others have done.

Something else is going on, Curtis, as I haven't had any issues with my C7 seats. Wish I could help.

That's okay, I made it work by cutting the lever **** down a little.
