Default Wire ID - From Engine Bay to Trans

2001 C5 Base w/ 416
Overhauling a new to me build. Need help identifying a 2-pin connector on a 2001 Corvette. It has purple (or pink) and yellow wires at the connector. The wiring runs from the front bumper area via the driver’s side, along the engine, down to the driver’s side of the bell housing where they disappear from basic view. The wires appear to be soldered into a green/white and black pair (possibly dark green/white).

I'm not sure which color wires are original to the car, the Purple(pink) and Yellow wires of the connector or the Green/White and Black wires that are going into the trans area.

If anyone recognizes what this connector is for, or what sensor/module it might go to, let me know. I have spent hours looking at different diagrams, posts, and images with my mechanic and neither of us had been able to ID it so far.

Summary:
Purple and Yellow wired connector. Runs from radiator support/Front bumper area to drivers side of bell housing. These solder into a Green/White and Black wire pair. Not sure which color pair is original to vehicle.

Some of the pictures show that the wires in your post are somewhat twisted which the only wiring that are “twisted pairs” are the wheel speed sensors…if a 2 wire connector it is either a solenoid, thermistor, CAN bus (twisted pair not on a C5), or a VR (Variable Reluctance) sensor such as the VSS or WSS…the infinity looking symbol on the wiring diagram denotes a twisted pair.

@C5 Diag Thank you for your time and response! Initially I assumed it was ABS related considering it was running from the bay to bell housing area or further - from what limited view I have, but all WSS are intact and wired. I will have to do some more investigation with an inspection camera to see if I can determine where the GRN/WHT and BLK twisted pair is connected to. Stumped on this one for the time being. Going to look into the VSS, but doubtful on that.
