MY gf has a 02 c5 and is having issues with the ac almost like it is stuck in the middle of defrost, floor and dash . The HVAC controller was replaced w a new one , and the procedure for setting it up done. MY ? is, on the build sheet it has a code CJ2 on build sticker , when I look it up the HVAC blend door is 250 bucks. Is ther only 1 or is there 2 blend door modules?? Alldata says there is 2 , but I want to make sure. I am hoping I don't have to ripe the whole dash apart. Thanks Joe

Stuck in the middle? ....as in air comes out of all locations regardless of mode selected?

You and I have the same question.
BLEND DOORS control temperature. DAMPER DOORS control air flow at the different levels/modes.
If you cannot select what vents that the air comes out of, you have a damper door issue. If that's the case, VACUUM to the damper servo vacuum control module is suspect.

Morning, the air is blowing out all 3 locations . I know the upper piece of plastic broke and wondering if something might be lodged in the duct work somewhere>>

Two viable paths:
Take the car to a local Corvette specialist. And it really needs to be a knowledgeable Corvette mechanic, not just a good mechanic, not just a trusted mechanic. The problem isn’t terribly complex or remotely above the comprehension of a good mechanic, it just takes more time and less parts swapping than the average shop applies. A mechanic already familiar with the (common) issue will know what to test and where.
Option 2 (best!): go through this thread, even though it’s old and many of the photos no longer appear. Truly educational: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...with-pics.html

Agree 100%. It should also help, not eliminate, but help ensure that some out of production and hard to find plastic dash pieces aren't all broken to Hell and back.
