Hi, my 1999 C5 drivers electric seat has stopped working totally!!... No function works at all when operating the switch. I have 12v going into the seat control module but nothing reaching the individual motors.
I have had the original Seat control module components & tracks checked out by a professional BOSCH electronics expert. And have just recieved from the USA a 2nd hand replacement seat control module.......and the problem is the same. Nothing works. Power to the module, and nothing out. I have also swapped the passenger side switch panel over and still nothing.......HELP!!!???
Not knowing if you have memory seats or not and you or your Bosch guy can follow the factory diagnostic troubleshooting chart below…helps to have a factory level scan tool or equivalent to check seat inputs and outputs….just having 12 volts going to the module tells you nothing !!…99.99% of DIY’ers don’t know how to properly check the ground circuit as well as professional mechanics…have you done that ??…good luck !!…if the seat say draws 1 amp and the ground circuit can not carry that 1 amp of current back to battery negative the motor will not function correctly or not at all.
