Dash Buttons Not Working!!

Has anyone figured out a fix for the dash buttons ? my 2001 c5 z06 just stoped working a few days ago it had been working great and from one day to the other it just stopped. I saw you can buy new replacement ones has anyone tried these ? or is there somthing else I should look for lik blown fuse ? or short.
