Relax Guy's...
OP
Any time you change the size of Fuel Injectors you have to at minimum reprogram the ECM. You really don't want the ECM thinking it's spraying 30# of fuel when only 25# is being dispensed
Save yourself a headache and just buy OEM...you can also get injectors from SMP on Rock Auto...why are you wanting to replace them ??
rock and smp don’t state specs and if they do they don’t match oem. Fuel filter is not serviceable on my 04. Condition of injectors I removed was fair and noticeably dirty. Have made decision and going to send them out to be cleaned. There are a few shops close by that do marine as well as automotive injectors. Just trying to keep my Vette running like new. I like tinkering
regards
For the record - unless there is a bypass (which I don't think Fuel filters have) A dirty filter will never allow larger particles through, it just restricts flow. The pass-thru size of the membrane never gets bigger
If you have a fuel pressure gauge and a bidirectional scan tool you can accomplish this…if not feel free to head North a little and I can do it for you.

need the pressure guage. Have the otofix lite bi directional. Oh this is fun. Pressure at the rail should be 56psi?
Very nice !!…here is the procedure to follow…just follow what the scan tools tells you to do…if you ever need diagnostic help down the road let me know…I use a pressure transducer these days when doing this test…more accurate and I don’t have to write the numbers down.

. Big thank you. Amazon to the rescue. It’s a clean machine, lol
Beware when purchasing engine/fuel parts from Amazon. C5Diag made a good suggestion to stick with OEM injectors. Some OEM parts are more desirable than aftermarket. It's up to us to research and educate ourselves as to which ones are, and which ones are not. One good example is lifter trays. It may cost more, but I buy mine right at the Chevy dealer, still in the "genuine GM parts box or bag. If you get knockoff chineseium injectors, they can leak down, be inconsistent, and could make your bad situation worse. Just sayin', and good luck...
