Re: Help - Need X-pipe Recommendation (MagRedSkull)
I would contact Shawn and order a Magna Flow X-Pipe.I had one installed at the time I replaced my exhaust system wih the GHL's.The X-pipe is supposed to do away with the popping and I guess it does.Mine doesn't pop at all.I really don't know if there is any performance increase. I have never seen any dyno tests of a stock car with the x-pipe only tested. If anyone has dynoed their car that is stock with only an x-pipe installed, join in and give us your results. :chevy :chevy :flag :flag :chevy :chevy :auto
Re: Help - Need X-pipe Recommendation (MagRedSkull)
Before you buy look at the Bassanti pipe. I bought it because it is a quality piece and it looks like that design would really smooth the flow. This is a designed pipe. The others look like an afterthought with a hole cut in the two pipes and a weld to hold them together.
I like the Corsa as well, have it in my 00 vert. Word has it that GHL will have one shortly that will be hand made, not cheap but I'm interested in dynoing this pipe with heads/cam and see if it reduces some of the back fire as well as seeing if there are any power benefits.... :D
