Steering column has limited movement.....
Hi guys. I recently found that my steering wheel column only moves within a much more limited range. It retracts completely, but only extends toward me about 2". Used to extend much farther, and closer to me. Anyone else had this issue? Car is a 2000 C5. Thanks, guys....

Thank you, Lucky. Im not the best on diagnosing things with a DVM. Continuity and voltage are about it. Maybe I'll find an auto electric shop. I know of a good one in Tampa, FL. Will be taking the Vette to FL this year, so there's that.....

The telescoping column module is in the seat harness. Maybe take a look under your seat at the wiring to see if everything is intact and not damaged. The telescoping button itself isn't terrible to replace if you had to do that.
