So I just finished some work on my 02 A4, was getting an intermittent P0332 code prior to working on it. I replaced both the rear KS (AC Delco) as well as the harness as it had a small kink in the #2 KS lead. Have driven it several hundred miles since completing the work with no issues until today. Coming home from work (50 mile one way trip) about halfway home got the code again. Was able to clear the code and it did not reappear for the rest of the drive. I did tape down the harness prior to reinstalling the manifold. Any suggestions as to a possible resolution?

I ordered the sensors from Rock Auto. Saw a thread earlier referencing the NAPA sensors, may have to go that route.
Rob, thanks for the diagnostic info, will have to try my hand with a meter.
If you go the NAPA route there is a very specific part number that is USA made and the reviews are listed as finally a knock sensor that doesn't throw codes. I'll see if I can find the part number in the morning.
Also, Autozone used to sell a USA made knock sensor that is identical to the NAPA sensor but they are all but dried up. My son found one a couple weeks ago but we haven't been able to find another.
IDK what else you can do except go with the statement "Made in USA" on the box. But with todays greedy business people, it wouldn't surprise me to find the box is the only thing made here!! But, like I said, what else can you do.....
My new USA made NAPA knock sensors are here. Did some checking and had 266 Kohms at the harness end of the sensors, way above what the diagnostic flow chart indicates should be there. Just to check, the connector going to the PCM was showing 9.56 kOhms, so I think that side is good. Installed the new sensors, torqued to 15 ft/lbs and reinstalled my harness which was just purchased earlier this month and I'm still getting 199.3 kOhms. Am I reading my meter incorrectly, or is maybe my new harness bad? The harness I just installed is the Dorman harness.
