Default Airbag code B1061

Hi all, still trying to fix this airbag light issue I've been having for awhile now, I ended up getting a tech2 scanner so I now have abit more information which is the actual fault code of B1061, lamp circuit failure.
anyone got any idea how to fix this?

Abit if background about it all:
I had to replace my gauge cluster a little over 12months due to the IPC having unrelated issues so I ended up getting a 2001 or 2002 gauge cluster and IPC and installed this into my 1998 C5.
now when you put a later model c5 gauge cluster in a earily c5 you need to "relocate" the air bag light in the gauge cluster, as the early models have the light located on the bottom right while the newer ones placed them in the top middle area and just didn't use the bottom right slot anymore, so I did this relocation and the airbig light works as it should. However, if I start my car on a cold morning and the cabin of the car is quite cold the airbag light will come on and stay on it won't even do the 7 normal flashes it will just be on. Once I warm the car up and if I turn the car off and on it will work but it's extremely consistent that if it's cold the light will be on and code B1061 will be triggered. The only other time when it will come on is if I go over a bump it may trigger the airbag light but this is very very rare.

Has anyone got any idea how to fix this code that seems to only be affected by cold weather? Really getting sick of this code. Cheers!

No surprise there. The circuit cannot work without a compatible IPC.

You still have the same problem you had 8 months ago. Again, the airbag light on a 97-98 is operated by the SDM providing a ground to the light in the IPC. The air bag light in the 2002 IPC that you installed is operated by the SDM via class 2 serial buss. The 97-98 SDMs are different from the 1999+ SDMs. Unless you reconfigured the system with a 99+ SDM....it's never going to work. The 97-98 SDM will NEVER communicate with the IPC on class 2, and even if it did, it is not designed to operate the airbag light via class 2.

So why does it work 100% when the cabin of the car is warm? It will do its normal 7 flashes then turn off
