A friend of mine is selling his two piece front, one piece rear rotors.
He's getting rid of the car. Has about 4000 miles on the rotors.
Can I just put them on my car with new pads, or do they have to
be cut. I don't want sqeaky brakes.

Any help would be great! Thanks , Jimmy O

Just put them on, squeaking is from not using anti-squeal on the backing plates and pistons, not anything to do with rotors. No need to cut, that's just wasted material, and most shops are reluctant to cut drilled or slotted rotors anyway.

There is no need to turn the rotors. Just take a piece of emory paper or other very fine sandpaper and break the glaze on the rotor friction surfaces. Sand thoroughly but not roughly and be sure to get all the surface, this will help the pads seat better. Start with a new set of pads and be sure you use the anti-squeel silicone lube on mating surfaces and you will be fine.
