I recently bought a 2004 C5. After reading the owner's manual, I still cannot get the HUD to work. The manual listed checking the fuse as a possible problem. I accessed the floorboard fuse box but cannot figure out what location the HUD fuse is in. Both the owner's manual and fuse box cover do not list anything close to a HUD designation. Any ideas or help here would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's because they do not exist. The HUD receives 12v/ground from the IPC.

Thanks lucky. Sooo...do I check for a bad ground or is this a board in the IPC that might have gone bad? And where would this be located?

I would start at the HUD connector and check for 12v and ground.

And where would the HUD connector be? In the fuse box under the hood?

The HUD plugs into the IPC, so no......the connector would not be in the underhood fuse box
No offense, but is sounds like you lack a basic understanding of how components interface with each other, and would benefit greatly taking your car to a trusted shop. Here is some reading for you ...so you can see what it take to access the connector.

Thanks again lucky, Yes you are correct, I don't know much about this car yet. I thought I'd start here at the forum and see where that takes me. I'm not opposed to taking it to a shop, but thought I'd see what you guys had to say first. You've been very helpful and thanks for your time. Dave
