I have a 1998 base convertible and I cannot get enough window pressure against the weather stripping to prevent leaks at the intersection of the convertible top and a pliiar. The two pieces of weather strip are in good condition and I have recently replaced the window regulator. Even with the regulator adjusted to the maximum window tip in, (both lower adjustment points) there is still a slight gap.atthe top. Any ideas would be appreciated.
The top may need adjusting. Body shop guy once showed me a trick he used for gaps. A dollar bill. He'd place the bill at different points along the glass and if he got a spot where there was no drag, he'd adjust something. No, I don't know how to adjust the top....

It sounds like you adjusted the tip-in, but not the major or minor height adjustment?
I have also adjusted the height I cannot go much higher before it starts to impact the top. The issue is at the front corner where the convertible top meets the windshield. The intersection of those two pieces of weather stripping or where the leak is occurring. I've tried cleaning the drain rails as well to make sure that is not part of the problem.
