Default Lower Control Arm Stack

Nearing the end of many months as I refresh my track beast and make it more streetable, I came across a new issue...

This is the forward bushing, pax side.

Rear bushing front LCA pax side.

Back drop:
I bought this car years ago from another Forum member. He had already removed the rubber bushings and installed poly. He had removed the original bolts and installed the Pfadt caster/camber kit (which you can see).

This summer I replaced pretty much every piece of consumable parts for the suspension and put it back together the way I found it.

I did my best to do a string alignment and used a laser level for camber. The numbers were good enough to drive it to an alignment specialist.

As I was driving it, I'd notice a "twitch" and squirrelly behavior so I put it back up on my lift and found what you see in the pictures above. Obviously, somethings wrong. The LCA has walked back onto the rear of the bushing. These are on the passenger side. The drivers side still looks ok. I suspect that I'm missing a washer or something similar.
The fit is still very tight between the ears.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Jeff

Just a guess...
The bushing itself is toast. Whatever section in the front that is supposed to match the flange at the back is missing.
Again, just a guess, but I ran into that same thing in the early days on the front a 944.
The poly bushings held up fine on the street, but weren't up to the braking load on the track.
After a few laps, the flange would just disappear...

Thanks for the reply!

Turns out that someone along this cars life left out 4 spacers for the bushings. Given the cars age and wear, I decided to buy the Pfadt kit that comes with new bushings as well as new spacers and inserts.
