Default coolant leak

coolant leaking from the passenger side of the engine, let the engine cool off, added a little more coolant in the reservoir tank, but its leaking out as fast as I put the coolant in? I cant see anything wet around the top area, hoses are dry, but down in between reservoir and engine I can see coolant on the steel frame part, any help is appreciated

It could be water pump is leaking out of weep hole. Try to look under water pump or its time to put dye in the system and that will help track down leak area.

The reservoir has a molded in T-fitting on the bottom well known to simply give up. For a big leak on the drinker’s side it’s the first I’d investigate.

Instead of us guessing for you invest in a coolant pressure test kit and verify 100% where the leak is coming from…also includes a vacuum refill kit which is the best way to change your coolant these days…you just need an air compressor.

added more coolant, let run for 45 minutes, temperature only around 208! Think was just a loose radiator cap,
