Default Torque tube questions

I recently rebuilt this torque tube less than 10,000 miles ago and am now having issues of car not going into gear as if the slave cylinder was not engaging but I am confident that it is not a hydraulic issue. It almost acts like the friction disc is getting stuck to the flywheel. I have another Forum Post in better detail of my initial issue
After pulling the torque tube apart to check the internals I noticed that the the guibo is touching the outer wall of the torque tube and there is a slight amount of rubber powder sitting in the torque tube. Is this normal? During the torque tube rebuild I did install new guebos and I did verify that they are the correct size, at least the same size as the ones that were in their previously

I've attached a few photos. One shows the rubber markings made by what I can assume is the guibo. There are two other photos of the input shaft showing the amount of forward and aft play I have when pushing by hand, not sure if that's normal. If I slide it all the way towards where the motor would be the drive shaft is blocked and will not spin. My Hope Is that when it's installed in the car it's held in place by the pilot bearing and other items

Don't know about the fore / aft play, but when my guibos were hitting the tube it was caused by a failed pilot bearing.
