Default P1280 P1281 DICs

Hey all, I’m currently struggling to put an end to these p1280 and p1281 codes. So far Ive cleaned my grounds, replaced the app sensor, checked and cleaned all my connections yet the codes still persist. So I’m wondering if theres any other solutions before I bite the bullet and replace the tac module.

The service manual has a fairly extensive troubleshooting process. I count about 6 or so pages worth.
I would at least consider the factory process before firing the parts cannon.

Cleaning grounds, checking connectors and changing parts may not fix your issue…if you have a factory level scan tool and some electrical experience you can follow the factory flow chart below…may be best to find an automotive electrical specialist in your area…sounds like you may be a parts changer…test don’t guess !!

Thanks Diag for the info. For scanning purposes would I need something like a tech 2?

A Tech 2 or any factory level aftermarket scan tool.
