Default Dumb question on seat track fix

So I replaced the shims on the passenger side seat. No problem.
Got it all back together. No problem, no more rocking.
Set the seat in to test and well...

When I push the switch forward the seat goes backwards.
When I push it backwards the seat goes forward.

Now I've never really used the passenger seat so its either that way from the factory or I swapped sides with the threaded rods (I probably did this).

Any one able to check the passenger side seat movement please?

Thanks

I would guess more likely than not the wiring is backwards, you can invert the wiring and reverse the polarity of the switch. Ive had to do this before when one side of a switch lost continuity and would. Ove in one direction.

My car does the same thing after I replaced the shims. I’m 87% sure that I got the threaded rods mixed up, but was dreading digging back in so much that I bought a set of C7 seats. I’m such a baby sometimes….

Yep, funny thing is I knew that. I took pains to make sure I didn't mix them up even.

Oh well, 30 minutes later I had them switched back.

I've done dumber things.
