Speedometer not working after LMC5 install
I recently got the dreaded column lock message (2000 C5 six speed), and remedied it with the LMC5 kit. This solved that problem, but my speedometer quit working immediately after. Richard from Compliance Parts has been open to helping, but no solution yet. From what I understand the modifications to install the LMC5 would have absolutely nothing to do with the speedo. I did have the plastic knee bolster off along with the plastic cover over the steering column because I had to give the column lock motor a couple of whacks to get it to release. But I don't believe anything speedo related goes through there. I have no codes relating to the vehicle speed system, and all the other gauges work. I've also checked every fuse in the footwell and the engine compartment. I've triple checked the LMC5 install, and all the other wiring in the area of the BCM. I'm really at a loss here, any insight would be MUCH appreciated.
