Service Ride Control
But this is the first time the right control error came on. I switched it into touring mode and the light came off, but then came back on again later.
I pulled codes from the driver interface, and all of the codes have an H next to them my understanding is those are all in history and not current.
Any idea why it would be saying service ride control but the codes all be history and not current?
Car has 64,000 miles so probably time for shocks anyway? I took pics of the shocks. I assume these are factory.

When you replace the shocks you'll want to have your F45 system turned off, probably by someone with a Tech II.
I just put Bilstein B6 on my 2000 convertible with 70k miles on it. Also raised it back to stock ride height since I scraped on every little bump around here.
First of all, were you getting the error message too? Or how did you know that it needed shocks.
I was looking at the bill STINE’s as well. How do you like the ride? Is it noticeably better?
The new B6 are noticeably more compliant than my old shocks. I have no information on how old they were other than they have for sure not been replaced since my dad bought the car with about 45k miles in 2015. Previous owners may have changed them.
I decided to put new shocks on because previous owners had cranked the ride height down an inch on the stock lowering bolts, taking up about an inch of suspension travel. Plus I figured they were likely originals and worn out from age.
