smells like what? Does it smell like raw fuel, deseil, old corvettes (exhaust smell), sulfer, dead bodies, aviation gas? What?

When I pulled the cats (with stock mufflers), the sound was FANTASTIC. Not really much louder, just a different tone. A little deeper, more of what I would have expected the car to sound like from the factory.
Later I gutted my mufflers. Then it got louder, but not crazy loud. Never had a second glance by any cops.
The stink isn't bad. Smells like any car from the early 70's.
Both the stink and sound can't compare to my uncorked Rx7. The fumes would burn your eyes like tear gas. The sound would cause EVERYONE to jump to their feet and see what just drove by! Every car with an alarm would go off. I did get a ticket where the cop said he could tell I was speeding just because of the sound. I really wasn't, but I pait the ticket and didn't complain. I loved to hear the exhaust bounce off the buildings in town (8000 rpm in 1st gear does sound like I was speeding).

It doesn't smell and it only got a tad louder. I was hoping for it to get louder and was let down. So now I am going to get some loud mouth's :smash:
