Hey guys, for my people who have done the a4 to mn6 swap can anyone guide me on the best way to install the clutch pedal? looks like the only way to get the “W” shaped bracket on the assembly is to take the brake pedal off, is this correct? if so is there an easier way to get the brake pedal loose without having to take half the interior apart?
Aren't you changing out the brake pedal anyway? You might be a better contortionist than me, but I took out the driver's seat to get access. You have to take out the console anyway, so yeah you're going to take some of the dash panels off anyway.

Yes, but some people say you steering column has to come out. i have the center console and radio bezel off, as well as the kick panel under the steering wheel. it’s a pain to get to but not impossible. i was just wondering if there’s a way to do it with the steering column and instrument cluster in the car mainly.

I thought you indicated that was going to be an easy swap: "It really is simple, it’s basically just torque tube removal (which plenty of people have done on jack stands mind you) along with drilling a hole for the master cylinder (which there’s a perforated spot on the carpet that basically tells you where it is) and the 2 wires you must run for the clutch safety. it’s basically just the same as doing a rear main seal but add a couple steps for the clutch hydraulics."

i got the car together besides the rear end lol the clutch pedal was the only thing that gave me trouble👍 no need to be an A hole about it just because you lack the technical ability to accomplish this swap
