Default VMS lowering bolts

This isn’t meant to be a discussion about should I or shouldn’t I and everyone’s opinion on the topic.

Really just want to know from folks who are, or have used them, approximately how much lower the VMS bolts will put the car vs the stockers?

thanks in advance!

Not sure how much lower they go, but they're not without their drawbacks.

And I'm betting this is the style that wears through.

I'm aware it's not marked for 97-04. I just remember looking into this in the past and it seemed like whatever not-stock option I chose was gonna suck for one reason or another.

The front bolts move relative to the control arm. The thick stock rubber pad allowed this movement. Any bolts with thin pads on them will have to slide.

I have lowering bolts in my spring because the stock ones were hacked up when I got the car so I needed replacements. The thin poly pad ripped off in short order and left it metal on metal. So, I now occasionally need to replace the piece of rubber cut off a conveyer belt that I put in there to stop the noise.
