Default Climate control plastic lens

Trying to find one of these lens for the display. I know I can get them in “blue” but I want red so it’ll match the rest of my interior lights.

So you think that a red lens will make the blue digit segments look red?

I doubt that will work. BUT-If you want different colored lighting everywhere else on the unit, contact Travis at Vetteronics. His # is:
(618) 975-3607. He also repairs these units. Very good work, and very reasonable prices....

I had the understanding that this digital segment was white and the blue lens was what made it appear blue. Do you know if I can get a red digital display?

I will add that I initially wanted to go with red background lighting. However, when I saw that I was unable to do all of the dash in that color, I decided against it. Because I didn't want a "Christmas tree" effect for a dash. This was over 15 years ago, so you may be able to do more with colors now than then. I know I read an article years ago that a research study by a major airline concluded that red is the easiest color on eye fatigue in nighttime flights.

I have never seen a red digital display on a GM vehicle whether it was radio, climate control, etc.
Good luck in your search.

The only red dash lights I ever saw were on Pontiacs in the 90s and early 2000s. Don't recall ever seeing them in a Corvette....

Not to split hairs, but the digital displays in those years were orange.
