Harmonic Balancer Wobble - Safe to Drive?
Hello, I have a 2003 C5 with 212k miles. A shop told me the harmonic balancer is bad and I can see it wobbling when the car is running. I wanted to ask if it is safe to drive the car with a wobbly harmonic balancer. The shop told me it is okay to drive just the belt might go bad other than that it should be safe. However, I wanted to confirm with the more knowledgeable people on here. Thank you.

What are you waiting on? Replace it ASAP before it completely falls apart. The wobble is its warning to you that failure is imminent. 212k is a very good run.
