Had an issue, car was sputtering, barely drivable. I had it towed to the local Chevy dealer and they said the left fuel pump was the problem. They said they tested the right fuel pump at that time and it was functioning properly. Fast forward two months, same thing started happening, the dealer now states it is the right fuel pump. Problem is they state GM no longer makes the part and they are having a hard time finding the part.. They supposedly had ordered two fuel pumps and upon receipt each pump was the incorrect pump. I know it is 25 years old but hard to believe nobody make a direct replacement with all the 2000 Corvettes out there. Can anybody provide a link to a direct replacement right fuel pump. I appreciate any input. Thanks
Just for clarification, you do know that the right side fuel pump isn't a electrical pump but rather a siphon pump that is provided a siphon from the left electrical fuel pump.
