Crazy Seat Controls
On my previous C5's the seat controls worked perfectly. In the case of my latest one, as Mickey in the Rocky movies said: "they gotta hundred pounds of brain damage"
I know very well how to set seat positions, etc. However, nothing seems to follow logic, retain the setting made, or to remain in the position specified. In addition, when I try to move the seat using the seat buttons, they stop periodically no matter how long you hold them. I have to release and start again and the movement is frequently no more than 1/8"....The steering wheel moves into position most of the time, but the "easy entrance/exit feature works sometimes and never predictably. I'm taking the driver's seat out to work on something else but I was wondering if I should check the condition of the switch internals and perhaps my ground points. If ANYONE has any suggestions I would appreciate it greatly.
