IAT/MAT Woes

- Took the wheels off and sprayed all the rubber suspension parts with WD-40 to eliminate/reduce squeaking
- Took my dash apart again because when I put my Hurst in I forgot to reconnect the front cigarette lighter
- Cleaned my BPP Vortex filter
- Washed and waxed the car
I would assume something happened when I had the airbridge out to clean and re-oil the filter. I had thought about getting the relocated/recalibrated sensor but have heard that they don't do much good in '99+ cars so I went to the dealer and picked a stock one up for $20. Before putting it in I consulted my Helms to test the original one but the procedures pretty much involved hooking it up to a TEC-II. I was expecting to get OHM ranges for the sensor.
So I threw the new one in and did an idle re-learn. Now I no longer get a CEL light but I am still getting 113 C and 1111 C DIC codes.
So now I an thinking I have a short in the harness. Boy will this be fun. I love tracking down electrical problems! :mad
Has anyone run into something like this? I'm hoping for ,"Oh yea Bill, there is a common problem with the harness at such and such a point, look there".
TIA

Sounds like the harness/connector goes bad pretty often. I'm sure this will do the trick.
Shoulda done a search before posting. :smash:
