what are the best mods
what do you guys think is the best mod to do next if you are me....i have blackwing, corsa catback, flp headers and x-pipe, NGK plugs..what should be my next move..a limit of 2000$ that's including labor...thanx

TC...Yank or Vig..you already have 3:15 gears upgrading to 3:42 gears will not make near as much SOTP difference as putting in a TC. With $2000 dollars you could get used set of LT headers, vortex air intake, TC plus installation...very good running (there are always folks selling good used stuff at reasonable prices on this forum).

I would install a T/C and gears at the same time and avoid having to pay for labor twice if you install them separately. Go with a Yank or a Vig. converter and 3.42 or 3.73 gears.

Is it worth the money to do 3.42 gears...i have 3.15....and also doing the TC and gears is 2500$ i only have 2000$......and i do not need headers cuz as you can see i have them.......thanx

Thanx guys....for those that had supercharger..i only have 2k..a super charger cost 5500$ atleast.....and would it be better to get one thing for 2k..or 3-4 things for the same money...

It is hard to be on a small budget and get real HP for your car. :cry I tried that for years and it didnt work well... Finally I had to break down and buy the good stuff to get the car to really go. :smash:

Why waste your time with a 3.42 gear? With $2000 in the bank I would buy a 3.73 gear, torque converter and a Z06 intake. That should be close to $2000 and would definetly wake your car up.

Wet system much more tunable puts out more power. Stock eng. w/vararam and hypertech 315 gear auto 11.86 1/4 on run flats I did however o/h eng. now with forged pistons and rods be careful factory rods and pistons are junk

I would not go with Nitrous unless you have the $$ to fix your engine if it goes bye bye. Your best bet is a set of 3:73's or 3:42's and TQ for the 2k budget. I don't see you getting 3:73's and a TQ installed for under 2K. Not going to happen unless you find them used for a good price.
