Passenger window grinding
2000 corvette base
Passenger window doesnt go up all the way. When it goes up and down it sounds like cracking and grinding. To get it up i have to click up and down back and forth rapidly to get it to go all the way up

Most likely your window regulator, you'll have to take the door panel off and observe window operation. Have you also inspected the door connectors inside the car that are causing reduced power mode?

Ok ill take the panel off and look around but will the regulator need to be replaced im assuming. Also im planning to fix the wiring on the door today. I wasnt taking the boot off on the A pillar side like u guys said so ill give it a try today. I have a can of electric connecter cleaner will that work?

Electronic contact cleaner will help but unfortunately you will have to re-bend the female style sockets on the door controls connector. The poor electrical connection is a mechanical problem not just dirty connections.
