Default Cut Lateral Accelerometer Wires

Does anyone have any advice regarding course of action for this unfortunate mistake, before I cave and take it to a shop?

I was trying to be slick and go for a minimally invasive strategy to install my passenger side AMT seat mount, and cut the freaking wires to the lateral accelerometer… I was being careful to try avoid them and of course I ended up nailing them. This is under the carpet, in the passenger seat well. Can’t really express my frustration in words.

Anyway, anyone ever seen this before/know what to do? Just got the car up and running after 4 months of intermittent work and it is glorious. Now I’m gutted lol.

Thanks for any advice.

It too short to splice as is. So three options:

1) Buy a prewired pigtail and splice in
2) Make your own pigtail by buying the appropriate contacts ....you'll need the correct crimper
3) Take it too a shop

Two "3M Scotch locks" , the blue colored, 14-18 Ga. ones, should do the trick. Or four barrel crimp connectors and two lengths of wire if your short on the splice.

That looks like a regular 'weatherpack' connector.
If so, they're easy to take apart and repin. Takes a special tool ($3?), and the right crimpers, available online. Pins are available at any auto parts store or online too.
Probably dozens of YouTube tutorials.
New lengths of wire, use heat shrink butt splices to the cut ends, and you'll have a pro quality repair.
DIY, or pay a shop $150...

Here you go. Buy the pigtail and you do not have to buy contact crimpers. All you need is a crimper for the butt splices...don't use the goofy solder-melting ones.

^^ Perfect.
Looks like those aren't the regular Weatherpack terminals too.
Easy-Breezy repair.
