Head light low beam failure??

Head light low beam failure??
Traveling cross country turned on high beams and then went back to low and dead, no lights, any ideas. High beams work but no lows and of course ticking off all the truck drivers.

Did you check all fuses, maybe there is a low beam fuse or a bad relay. Maybe the contacts in the switch lever are not making.

fuses good, can't do more than that at this time. Problem is long way to go and can't do the night thing because of traffic and they are vocal.

Temporarily switch the low beam harness with the high beam harness. That will keep other drivers from giving you the finger. :yesnod:
Then if you look in your manual, I believe there is a layout of relays along with fuses. You should be able to find the headlight relay and possibly swap it for another relay to test if the relay went bad. :yesnod:

can the harness be changed that way. The relay is sealed and I don't believe I can swap it. The fuses are separate for low and high and are fine.

Colume cluster bad, of course no parts in Wyoming so swaped wires to blubs.
