What's up guys and gals. Getting ready to have my 2000 C5 painted. The body shop recommends I replace all the rubber trimming and weather stripping at this time. The car was poorly sprayed before I took ownership (they sprayed over EVERYTHING, even the rubber trims around the exterior door handles!!). Does anyone have a recommendation on where I can purchase everything I will need, preferably one stop shop for all the rubber components?

To me, CRC feels like EPDM, a very good moldable elastomer, but it’s both softer and less dense than the OEM weatherstripping was. Sadly, the key phrase is “was”, with all the GM stuff long out of production. As far as reviews go, CRC is the best available, and for a few pieces, such as the windshield surround, they are the only supplier.
