Pushrod length
Last year i installed Texas Speed ported 243 heads, BTR stage 2 cam, dual springs, .80 7.40 push rods, AR headers, X pipe and Corsa Sport cat back. Did all the maintenance items "while i was in there"
Before having the car tuned, the tuner thought the combo would make 430 to the wheels. It only made 393.
Ive driven about 5000 miles since the build, and have always thought the valve train was noisy, sounded like a sewing machine. I did a little digging and felt like i should re measure pushrod length. i ended up at 7.500 after using the length checker.
Power does seem to be up (butt test) and the sewing machine sound is less, but is still there. I'm curious what length pushrods others have used in similar builds.
The heads only had a clean up pass, didn't mill them
