C5 automatic servo replacement
Hello, is it possible to replace servo KIT on C5 automatic gearbox, without removing transmission? I gues there's about 2 inches of space between gearbox and frame... is it enough such space to pull out servo assembly?

If you are talking about the 2-4 servo on the side of the trans then yes. You can take it out without removing the trans. I just did one last week. The exhaust will be in the way. Drop the exhaust and you can clearly see it. After the retaining ring for the cover is removed, remove it, the piston and the cover. Then you can just get the servo out by wiggling it towards the back of the car. Putting it back in is a little harder because there is a spring that goes in first and must be centered over a hump the pin goes through. Definitely doable though.
