Default C5 Fobs
I've got a 2000 C5 and the key fob(s) are a problem. I change the batteries, clean the contacts and reset the fobs. They will only work for a couple of days and then I'm back to the same old problems.
Any ideas?

So you have two 27 year old FOBs that lose sync with the car. How did you determine the FOBs are the culprit?
Any codes?
TPMS working ?

No codes. Just wonky fobs. Maybe I should replace the fobs?

No issues with the TPMS. At least it's never gone on!

You can pick new ones up cheap on eBay or Amazon. I’ve got two that I got on eBay in 06 that still work great.

Try pressing the lock button and then the unlock button. That seems to wake up the fobs on my ‘99.
