Default Radiator

Anyone know anything about or had any experience with ALLOYWORKS aluminum radiators? They look good on paper and their ad hype is good, but real world?

What ad hype are you referring to? They are just radiators made in China you can buy on Amazon. Give it a shot and let us know how it works out .

Looking at youtube videos of people who have used them, they seem pleased with the quality of the welds and the materials used from street rods to pickups. And c3's. But i haven't seen anyone in the c5 community use them yet. At $250 with the fan shroud system shipped vs. $ 900 for a DeWitt. Make me wonder...

The DeWitt is more expensive because it’s U.S.A. made — not saying the chinese radiator can’t be good, just the DeWitt can’t be cost competitive. I have a DeWitt, and two mounting tabs on mine had to be trimmed to install. If I were doing it again, I’d try a highly rated chinese unit.
Do bear in mind your year and transmission. Autos need the cooler, with correct connections depending on year.

Most times you get what you pay for. I've had a DeWitts for over 20 years/100,000+ miles, and never had a problem. I suppose educating the Chinese on manufacturing items to cut USA manufacturers throats is appealing to some. Not me. I buy as little as possible from China, which is still quite a bit, but most times I don't have a choice. With radiators, I do. I'd love to see how that Chinesium radiator is doing 20 years from now, but I probably wont live that long. I wish the OP the best of luck. He may need it....
