So I’m having the common issue on my C5 where the vacuum line running from the intake manifold to the vacuum reservoir tank is broken and all of my air blows through the defrost vents. I removed the fender to properly diagnose that as my issue and sure enough the line is snapped in half and a big portion of it is missing. I’ve spent a lot of time looking online but I can’t find a replacement for it. Is the oem replacement line I need sold anywhere online or do I need to buy a roll of vacuum hose from a hardware store to replace it? If I buy a vacuum hose instead of an oem replacement, do I need to install a one way check valve in that line? Everything I’ve found online has been kind of unclear up to this point.

You can just buy a few feet of 3/16 rubber hose and replace the line from intake to vac tree. I would highly recommend using a vac pump to check all of your hoses while you were are in there as my AIR solenoid hose had a tiny leak as well.
