Default Window stuck down

Just the way to end a nice drive. Passenger window stuck rolled down. Neither switch would engage the window, and key off and on a few times did nothing. However, after 5 mins or so, it rolled back up. Any ideas what this might be stemmed from?

The first thing to check is the door wiring harness where it passes thought the door aperture into the door. There are connectors there in the accordion conduit. Make sure itheyre secure and healthy. Then move on to the regulator motor. Have you checked for BCM codes?

For connectors location see this thread. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...connector.html

Go through the dash and check the codes for the door modules and bcm. When I first bought my car, it would have issues where the windows wouldn't go down, couldn't lock/unlock with the buttons... etc.

Thought is was the door harness, but that wasn't the issue. Clearing the codes helped though to reset the modules and be able to gain communication again.

Boiled down to a bad battery.

Great thread! I started looking around after my neighbor mentioned that it may be the passenger Door Control Module. Found one for $100, but was thinking that it may be something else, much smaller, that (hopefully) doesn't require ordering parts (used in this case), taking the door panel off, etc., however, after checking the codes, it displayed an A1-RDCM-NO COMM code. Sounds like a wiring issue? Possibly the electrical harness pins in the passenger door jamb accordion boot?

You all saved me from ordering another part that's not needed. It dropped an A1-RDCM-NO COMM code, leading me to wonder if it's the electrical harness pins, inside of the passenger's door jamb accordion boot.
