I forgot a couple of things that we didn't like about the VaraRam. (again, these are opinions)
The fit and finnish of the product didn't impress myself or my dad. The material is strong, but the quality isn't there. It does not fit with the corvette quality. (rough edges, not symetrical, ect.)
The connectors for the two pieces are metal, and the instructions say to bolt it down untill the metal bends and touches together. That is just hokey and mickey mouse IMO.
To clean the filter, (which is foam btw) you almost have to take the whole thing appart to get to it.
To get those numbers that are "so much higher" than any one else, they use a foam "race" filter, which IMHO does not filter the air enough to be safe for your engine. BTW, they can't get those great numbers without using the foam "race" filter.
You can get the BW, drill holes in the fog lamp shrouds (for cold air), and would be just as good.
Again, I am not trying to beat anyone down, this is just my (and my dad's) Opinion. Thanks.
