Check Engine Lite
Can anyone help me in solving my 1997 Corvette check engine light problem which is reading codes P010 and P1870. I was told that code P010 was the MAP sensor but not sure how true this information maybe. I have no ideal what P1870 is referring too. Any assistance in determining problem codes would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was told that the P010 code was a MAP sensor. The mechanic wrote the code down as P-010-1 MAP Sensor and P1870 X2. Does the P010-1 mean anything in the code book. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated. Again, thank you for your reply. Look forward to hearing back from you.

P0101 is a MAF, mass air flow meter. error.
The difference between the MAF frequency and the calculated frequency is more than 50%.
Maybe the MAF has a bad connection or it needs to be cleaned. I think you can safely use carb cleaner on it.
